The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the developments of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to head to the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
